I built Orbyt because I was paying a premium subscription to a résumé folder.

That's the whole story. I existed there. Other people existed there. Nothing happened. The feed turned into AI slop, the inbox turned into recruiter spam, and every time I wanted to do something real — find an event, read something good, publish my own, get paid — I had to leave the app I was already paying for and stitch together four more.

The old network was built for a world where a job title was a career. That world is gone. AI flooded the feed with synthetic everything, and the people who actually make things now need a place to be seen and paid — not a place to list where they used to work.

So I started building the thing I wanted to open in the morning. A working network. One place for the work, the writing, the events, the people, the dollars. No middleman between you and the audience you earned. Your work is your profile.

Orbyt is the network for the people who'd rather ship than perform — and to them, the audience belongs. The dollars reach them. The work shines.
