Orbyt Social, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates Orbyt (the "Service"), a professional social network. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Orbyt is intended for adults 18 and over, and we are committed to keeping the Service free of any content or conduct that endangers children.
These Child Safety Standards are published and globally accessible to everyone who uses Orbyt. They explain what is prohibited, how we prevent and respond to abuse, and how to report a concern to us or to the authorities.
1. Prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited and are grounds for immediate removal and permanent account termination:
- CSAM of any kind — including real, illustrated, animated, computer-generated, and AI-generated material. The format makes no difference: a depiction does not need to involve a real child to be prohibited.
- Sexualization of minors — including any content, comment, or imagery that sexualizes a person under 18, or that a reasonable adult might mistake for it.
- Grooming — building a relationship with, or attempting to make contact with, a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion — threatening to share, or coercing anyone with, sexual content involving a minor.
- Any content or behavior that exploits or endangers children, including solicitation, enticement, trafficking, or directing others to CSAE or CSAM on or off the Service.
These rules are part of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
2. How we prevent & respond
We combine automated detection with human review to keep CSAE and CSAM off the Service:
- Automated detection. Uploaded media and content are screened by automated systems designed to detect known and suspected CSAM before it reaches the community.
- Human review. Reports and flagged content are reviewed by our team, and CSAE categories are prioritized for the fastest possible action.
When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or CSAE, we will:
- remove the content promptly;
- suspend and permanently ban the responsible account(s);
- preserve the relevant content and account data as required by law; and
- report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and cooperate with law enforcement and relevant authorities.
3. How to report
If you encounter content or behavior that endangers a child, report it right away. You do not need an Orbyt account to reach us.
- In the app: open the Report flow on any post, message, profile, comment, or piece of content — reachable without leaving the app — and select the child-safety category. We escalate these reports immediately.
- Child-safety contact (no app access required): email our child-safety point of contact at support@orbytsocial.com with "Child Safety" in the subject line, and it will be routed to the team that handles these reports.
- Directly to authorities: you may report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
4. Compliance
Orbyt complies with applicable child-safety laws, including U.S. reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We review and update these Standards as laws, threats, and best practices evolve.
